More money in the pockets of workers isn’t only good for workers – it creates demand that will trickle up the economy resulting in faster growth and a fairer economy.
To make this happen – trade unions must take the lead. This is the reason why the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) is about to launch a campaign for a pay rise “It’s time for OUR recovery!”. The conference in Brussels - gathering ministers, officials and trade unionists - will mark the launch of the Europe-wide campaign.
