Dear Colleagues,

You are hereby invited to attend our Final Conference of the project “Company Mobility and Workers Representatives in Company Boards” on 19 March in Brussels from 09.00 AM to 5.00 PM.

The conference will be the occasion to discuss the findings and the outcome of the workshops organised in the framework of the project. During the event there will be also an update and an open discussion with participants on the studies in preparation on company law and workers board-level representation on company law and letterbox practices.

The conference will also be the occasion to have a discussion on the company law package, in light of the developments in the legislative process and of the discussions during the workshops. The event will be concluded with a debate with Members of the European Parliament on the future of European company law with regard to workers’ information, consultation and board-level representation.

Please find attached the draft agenda of the conference.

Interpretation
The following interpretation will be available during the meeting: English, French, Italian, and German.
There will also be Spanish and Portuguese as passive languages.

Please register here before 8 March 2019.

Accommodation
Should you require hotel accommodation in Brussels, kindly make your own hotel room booking directly. Please note that the refund will be possible for a maximum of 1 night for a maximum amount equivalent of 148 €/ per night.

Travel
Travel (for a maximum of EUR 350) and accommodation costs will be refunded after the event upon receipt of an invoice. Please read carefully the enclosed accommodation and travel policy.

Please note that the Final Conference for our project "Company Law and Workers in Boards" will take place on 19 March 2019 in Brussels, Belgium.

The Final Conference of our project will deal amongst other topics with the latest developments of the company law package, but also the future of European company law related in particular to workers’ information, consultation and board-level representation and the risk of multiplication of letterbox companies.
